This is an excellent book that explores the emotions of a young child who was violated by a loved one, someone whom they trusted. It is an easy read for both adults and children and encourages children to speak out when and if something happens to them before the progression of sexual abuse occurs. Having worked closely with victims of sexual abuse over the years, this book is a GREAT guide for parents and their children. 1 in 3 young women will be violated sexually by the time they leave college and the majority, as young children. It is imparitive that as parents we don't turn a blind eye to the facts! Understandable, as a parent it is sometimes difficult to explore this topic....use this as a resource.... this book will help explore what so many do not like to speak about in a comfortable and easy way. Makes a great gift for a loved one with children!
